3/27/18 at Boras Classic - Tools continue to stand out, particularly the arm strength and bat speed, as well as the potential for power down the road. Showed good agility behind the plate and early recognition/anticipation of balls in the dirt, pop times in warm-ups were competitive but not eye-popping. Receiving skills are strong though occasionally doesn't finish the skill on the throwing hand side. Transfers the ball to his throwing hand well. Offensively has some back side dip that indicates some desire to lift the ball, swing can be quite uphill at times.

2/24/18 - Good looking 6-foot-0 185-pound backstop that has a muscular frame that looks to be the durable type for the catching position. He's well-proportioned with a strong lower body that works well for him on the defensive side. Dapkewicz showed well behind the plate, with athletic and nimble footwork that serves him well as a blocker and in getting rid of the ball. Offensively he starts with an open stance and quite a high hand set, dropping them down before he loads. His approach is of a lift-the-ball type, with a sweeping swing through the zone. His hips can tend to drift a bit which tends to open up the opposite field for the left-handed hitting catcher. He does a good job keeping his hands inside the ball and using the whole field.
