Uncommitted as of this viewing vs Jesuit HS; compactly built player with good strength and looks a bit like a running back with his body type. The bat speed is good and he can get his swing off easy but there are some adjustments to make in terms of smoothing out his stroke and maintaining better balance. He did draw a walk vs Susac that was a quality at-bat and later got a high breaking ball and popped it off the end of the bat, landing it softly in short left field. His hands are talented and as he learns a consistent approach and learns to hit in certain counts, he's got a chance to be an impactful hitter beyond the high school level.

PBR N CA Preseason All-State - Medium frame with lean strength in proportion throughout body; legs get moving with average stride length showing strong straight away speed (7.12 60-yd). Tall stance with balanced base keeping high hands and high elbows; foot lifts quickly with transfer of weight into backside. Really looks to lift and drive balls as hands drop down and work on big upwards path; back shoulder gets under the ball creating loft into deep pull gap (81 exit velo). Works through the ball with glove out in front creating good transfer into throwing arms; compact arm swing into length before ¾ release. Arm had flashes of consistency with times where throws were high and offline (78 MPH).
