PBR CA STATE GAMES - Wider, full frame body that should shape well as he continues to mature. On base three times during 1st game with two hits and a walk while also pitching one inning with a walk being the only damage. At the dish keeps a lower hand slot with more pronounced load over back foot; upward path with best swing staying tight to the body through turns. Frame should add some power as he continues to mature. On the hill hands stay tight to the stomach with average front knee staying tall over the rubber and focused on riding the back hip down the hill. Full swing arm to 3/4 release; as he strengthens will be able to clean up arm actions for more arm speed and added velocity. FB 76-79 running and cutting to both sides of the plate. CB 65 11/6 shape having depth occurring late at the plate. CHG 71-72 with bottom at the plate. Impressive stuff for incoming Freshman with chance to make jumps.

Point and shoot style mechanics with an overall feel for pitching. Tunnelled his pitches from the same slot and shows projection down the line. Fastball with some life for a 2023 at 76-79 mph, curveball at 67-68 mph with some feel and a change-up at 70-72 mph with some fade. Pitches flattened out up in the zone. Name to watch.
Medium frame, young body with lots of projection. Kim recorded a laser timed 60-yard-dash 7.88, will get stronger as he continues to develop. He recorded a home-to-first time of 4.86. Then went onto the hitting portion where he recorded an exit velo of 85 MPH. Flashed more opposite field and up the middle and pull side will come as he continues to mature. Has a compact line drive approach, didn’t flash much power but will come as he adds strength. From the outfield he recorded a velo of 76 MPH. Had average arm strength, longer throwing motion and did engage lower half. His arm will continue to get stronger as he continues to add strength and mature as a ball player.
