ACG Tryout - Munger makes loud contact in the box with exit velocities in the high 90s. An aggressive hitter that displayed an all fields, line drive approach, Munger left the park several times in batting practice. He moves well in the outfield for his size and displays a high 80’s to low 90’s arm from there. He will stick at a corner position.

Physical: 6-3, 205 pounds
Offensively: RH. EV max – 98.6 mph, hand speed max – 25.7 mph, bat speed max – 73.6 mph; Exaggerated leg kick; feet start slightly offset open and after stride end slightly in. Quick hands, dominant top hand. Hit multiple balls on the screws with tons of topspin and also got lift on some others.
Defensively: OF Velo – 92 mph; Big presence in the OF, any lack of mobility is made up for with the arm. Quick and short arm action with a little bit of arm side run.
Delivery: Drives off the back leg, has glove tap. Controlled violence down the hill
Arm Action: Short arm action, hides the ball for an extended amount of time and releases at a high ¾ slot.
FB: T90.6 mph, 88.4 - 90.2 mph range, 2240 avg spin; arm side run on the FB, commands the outer half of the zone really well. Hits spots and works the offspeed in well.
CH: 80 mph, 1704 spin; Only saw the CH once but it was perfectly tunneled off of a fastball. Has late downward break that can leave hitters lunging on the almost 10 mph difference to the fastball.
CB: 71.0 - 71.8 mph, 1872 avg spin; Loopy CB; Not as much control as CH but can use as a get-me-over front door CB.
