Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average

NorCal State Games ID: A lean and athletic body with trained strength throughout, it's clear that he has put time into his body, which translates into his good body control and ability to manipulate multiple pitches for strikes and strong complement of each other. Fastball peaked at 83 mph with run and some darting action, and feel for the strike zone .Works with a quick and confident pace. Curveball 68-70 mph with continuous rolling break deep into the zone, with feel, and then a fading change-up a lot of downward finish (big spin decrease off the FB, 1467) that should be able to be utilized for both ground balls and swing and misses.

Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; Lean strength throughout athletic build, streamlined proportions, strong performance relative to results (2 IP, 3 K, BB, H), stuff is competitive, FB 80-83 mph, 2326 max spin, holds plane and has considerable run at it's peak (-16.8), 68-72 mph CB, has clean shape and continual break, not a big breaker or quick breaker but it's a usable pitch w/max 2218 spin), CHG 74-76 mph is best secondary offering, able to greatly reduce the spin (1467 avg) off the FB which can elicit both soft contact and also some swing and miss off the plate to RHH, has feel for the CHG. Competitive and confident rising senior LHP and one who with a strong spring season very well could find an opportunity at a 4-year school sooner than later.

Positional Profile: LHP Body: 6-0, 175-pounds. Lean athletic build, has some strength, well-proportioned. Delivery: Creates good rhythm with his hands and lift leg that keep him connected throughout his delivery. Separates over the rubber into a strong/healthy scap load. Front foot lands slightly open (when this is cleaned up he will see a jump in velocity). Arm Action: LH. Works just below the belt back up to a tight scap load that circles out to a 3/4 to a high-3/4 slot. FB: T82, 77-81 mph. Velocity plays higher than shown on paper due to his elevated spin rate of 2170 on average. Works on a solid downhill plane. Has the ability to miss bars up in the zone. CB: 67-69 mph. Big break high spin rate (2206) put away pitch that can be thrown early for strikes.
Positional Profile: OF Hit: LHH. Wider feet, even stance, hands start high, medium depth in box slightly off the plate, smooth easy stride, minimal load with quiet hands. Maintains balance, consistent stroke, has good timing and sequencing, uses all fields, stroke and approach suggest a chance to hit for average. Power: 89 max exit velocity, 67.1 max bat speed, 21.6 max hand speed. Arm: LH. OF - 78 mph. Clean arm stroke, starts arm circle from hip, accurate with fair carry, acceptable release time. Defense: Quiet approach, good angles, has rhythm from ball reception into throwing motion, adjusted to different hops, range projects to a corner. Run: 7.43 runner in the 60.
