Got a chance to see Formosa in the dugout before the game and he definitely looks the part, and after watching him play that game, he definitely acts the part too. At the plate, he went 3-4 with two singles, one up the middle and the other one was hit past the second baseman. His third at bat, he showed easy poolside pop, and hit a double off the base of the right field wall, cruising into second base easily. The stance is upright, has a lot of rhythm with his hands in the box, but his ability to use the whole field was impressive. One of the better hitters in all of northern California, but he came into relief to close it out for Liberty and he is trending upward as a two way prospect. He dominated the use of his fastball, which sat between 85-87 mph T88, and he mixed in a CH at 77-78mph, but didn't really need the secondaries. Excited to see Formosa and his projection as a player.
