11/07/21

Body: 5-10, 165-pounds. Physical build with athleticism seen with his two-way player ability. Hustled and competed at the event.
Hit: RHH. Wide hitting set up, simple lift and plant trigger, upward swing path, one-hand finish. Blast Motion scores of 39-50-46. Current college level hand (23.2) and bat speed (74). Data shows a swing with developing characteristics with his ability to get into a hitting position and current raw power abilities highlighting his swing.
Power: 85.00 max exit velocity. Hit the first batting practice home run.
Arm: RH. INF - 78.00 mph. Uses his whole body in throws from third, can make all the throws, not afraid to play on the grass to help his arm, capable third-base arm at this level.
Defense: Looked the part, stays low to the ground, focused on every pitch, proper prep step, comes in the on the ball well and fields very well to his forehand. Backhand needs some improvement. Not afraid to play in and take charge of the infielders.
Run: 7.64 runner in the 60.

Delivery: Worked out of the stretch, does a good job of holding balance and staying closed, sits back on back leg, fairly clean follow through.
Arm Action: RH. Showed that the arm can play on the mound, lacking elite action, shows some speed in follow through with a kickback. Held same release point with offspeed pitches.
FB: T80, 78-80 mph. Fastball plays straight with slight ride and average spin. Located throughout the zone. Grip, focus and balance key to throwing pitch where he wants.
CB: 69-71 mph. Functional curveball that he commanded throughout the zone. Showed confidence throwing the pitch in any count. Above-average horizontal movement on the pitch serves it well. 50/50 usage with fastball should be utilized.

10/17/20

Body5-10, 161-pounds. Proportional, room to fill out with lean mass.
Delivery: Simple approach, some athleticism, average extension, more in the tank.
Arm Action: Arm has some juice in it as seen from infield showing, consistent, high ¾.
FB: T77, 75-76 mph. 12:30 Tilt, 17.6 IVB (93rd percentile Extreme Ride), 4.6 HB (21st percentile Low Run), 1921 Spin Rate.
CB: 67-68 mph. 8:30 Tilt, -3.2 IVB, -13.4 HB, 2305 spin rate. Significant horizontal break and slightly-below average MLB average spin rate project this pitch well and give it swing and miss potential.
CUT74-77 mph. Quality offering to curveball, enable starter ability, continue to develop.
