10/10/18 - Arizona commit. The 6-foot-3 Cranton came out firing on this night touching 93 while living 90-92. Fastball showed lots of life as it entered the hitting zone with some run back to the arm side. He showed improved command of the pitch as he attacked every quadrant of the strike zone with the pitch. Cranton's slider was as good as we've seen it with it sharp, biting action with the occasional two-plane break to it. On the last two pitches of his outing he threw a changeup that flashed fading action away from the left handed hitter he was facing inducing two swing-and-misses. This outing is as good as we've seen Cranton.
