Body: 5-11, 190-pounds. Larger athletic build with strength throughout the frame.
Hit: RH. Stands slightly open with a wide even base and low hanging hands. Uses a mild leg lift trigger while hands pull back with a slight barrel tip. Smooth stroke that works on a slight upward plane that produced no gbs throughout his round. Middle of the field approach.
Power: 83 mph exit velocity. Gap to gap power potential.
Arm: RH. INF - 76 mph. Short action that comes out of a lower elbow slot. Average time to release. 5/6 accurate throws.
Defense: Showed good footwork and soft hands. Takes good angles and plays through the ball. Clean glove to release transitions.
Run: 7.71 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Simple and repeatable delivery. Side steps into a mild knee lift. Sits into his back leg and rides down the mound. Decent stride length. Good sequencing from lower to upper body movements. Finishes with a firm and straight front leg and good fielding position.
Arm Action: RH. Short and compact arm circle in the back that comes out of the H 3/4 slot. Arm spirals out nicely. Average arm speed for level. Same slots and armspeed for both FB and CB
FB: T76, 73-75 mph. Very minimal HB. Located it mostly up in the zone.
CB: 66-68 mph. Really good feel for it. Located it well down in the zone.
Uncommitted - Five-foot-11, 170-pounds. Large frame with thickness/strength in the lower half and some strength from the shoulders down through the chest. Strength really shows at the plate where he starts with a neutral setup using a leg kick trigger to initiate swing. Drove balls to all fields on a line showing a preference for the pull side. Defensively he showed competent footwork with fair range to both sides. Soft hands with quick/clean transitions and a strong, accurate arm across the diamond. Handled the double play ball with ease while the backhand was true and natural. Athletic actions on the dirt with a very good understanding of how to use his body.
