HitRHH. Balanced, even hands to start with a high back elbow. Quick front leg lift allows him to sink into back hip before backside all comes together on the swing. Upward path with hand speed present. Aggressive in his turns allows him to create damage to pull gap; times where hands can disconnect early and lead to more groundballs. Present bat speed with Wood Bat in BP. 22.8 Max Handspeed, 74.3 Max Bat speed.
Power98.40 mph exit velocity.
ArmRH. OF - 92 mph. Strong compact arm action. Plus arm strength. Takes his time setting up his feet so slower to release. Throws had great carry and were thrown through the target. 3/4 accurate throws in the workout.
DefenseBalls low to the ground he attacked and came up with great momentum. Higher hopped balls he stayed back and let the ball come to him. Uses a glove tap before getting into throwing motion.
Run: 7.32 runner in the 60.

DeliverySide steps into a medium knee lift. Glove seperation happens in the middle of his chest. Gets good hip-shoulder seperation. Front foot lands in line with home but falls toward the 1B side; better direction down hill when front hip stayed locked.
Arm Action: RH. Loose arm that accelerates late in the action. Comes out of the 3/4 slot. Gets slightly inverted as his arm loads into his scalp.
FBT91.5, 88-91 mph. Plus spin FB that had good ride up in the zone. Located it well to both sides of the plate.
SL73-74 mph. Plus spin SL that had 19 inches of average horizontal break. Was able to indoor it on RHs along with using it as a chase pitch.

at De La Salle - Uncommitted; listed 5-foot-10, 170-pounds, was VERY impressive. Not the biggest kid, but he's strong and physical. Aside from the raw stuff, which I'll get to, he got the start opposite 2020 LHP Kyle Harrison, on the road vs De La Salle, and turned in two scoreless innings. They weren't EASY innings, but he showed not only stuff, but grit and tenacity and composure. On mound has simple rhythmic delivery, overhand slot, quick loose arm, should be able to repeat well given his strong lower half and the simplicity of it all. Attacked with the fastball that was steady 86-88, T89, some life through the upper part of the zone, along with occasional sink on what was possibly a two-seamer. Both the slider (76-77) and curveball (72-74) are good pitches, both tight with late action deep in the zone and both capable of  getting soft contact and swings/misses. Change-up not utilized much (79 mph). Later in the day he got some at-bats and put together a couple of very good ones... including a HR to LF (don't see that very often at DLS) and another well-struck ball to the pull-side.

Preseason Bullpen:
FB 84-86, CHG 77-81
Physical, strong body with athletic lower half. Athletic delivery showing strong drive and easy controlled actions; stays inline well allowing hips to transfer energy down the hill. Keeps hands at chest with high front knee; arm is quick and strong working through 3/4 slot with ease. CHG shows some arm-side fade; at it's best shows more arm-side run.
