Positional Profile: RHP/OF Chung has a developed repertoire having already made varsity appearances for powerhouse Harvard-Westlake. He successfully uses four different pitches for strikes.
Body: 6-1, 155-pounds. Lean build with plenty of room to add mass.
Delivery: Slower leg lift, hands move up and down with lift. Pushes off the back leg and drives forward.
Arm Action: RH. Whippy arm motion, arm moves quick following a later glove break.
FB: Arm side run coming from the lower angle. Able to work it in and out.
SL: 72-74 mph. Consistently lands SL for strikes, has good sweep that stays consistent with shape when moving in and out of the zone. T2424, 2095 average rpm.

Physical: 5-11, 140-pounds; Lean, athletic build. 7.81 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with a quick stride with foot down early for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a short swing path with one-handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 76 MPH via Trackman. Hands work tight and connected. A lot of inside out throughout his round.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands are underneath the body with a delay in transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 75 MPH. OF - 76 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing some scap load; high 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 76 MPH, while sitting 74-76 MPH; straight action. SL: 65-67 MPH; short action. CH: 70-71 MPH; fading action.
