Positional Profile: LHP
Body: 6-3, 205-pounds. Strong body on frame with physicality and proportionality.
Delivery: Sizeable rocker step, in-line stride, high knee lift to chest, smooth L stride down slope to stable and balanced foot strike, calm head, leverage against front side, good mechanics.
Arm Action: LH. Long backside, loose arm, elbow a bit inverted just before coming forward, full finish through release and deceleration, high-3/4 slot.
FB: T83, 79-82 mph. Around zone, flashed hard late run on arm side, high spin of 2389 projects FB well beyond the 83 he showed, extension avg is strong attribute and allows the pitch to play up in regard to velocity, usable fastball.
CB: 68-70 mph. Early break with smooth action, seemed to shorten release point off the FB though it's good extension, there is quality spin and attributes to develop an average CB at the minimum, fingers just a bit late in getting to the front of the ball.
CH: 77-79 mph. Outstanding finish, big arm side action, presents as a BP fastball.
Positional Profile: 1B
Hit: LHH. Wide feet, even stance, very slightly open to slightly closed at stride, reverse stride with knee tuck. Small calm load while still creating tension in separation with lower half, aggressive throw of the barrel, impact barrel ability, tips head a bit at impact, extends through contact, physical swing.
Power: 91 max exit velocity
Arm: LH. 1B - 77 mph. Short quick stroke to 2B feeds, longer arm across the diamond like that of a pitcher, accurate, arm plays well at the position.
Defense: Plays low to and through the ball, light athletic feet, confident actions, soft hands, works bag with left foot attached early to bag, seemed to read ball in air well.
Run: 7.94 runner in the 60.
