Body: 6-foot-4, 230-pound mature lengthy build with tons of strength in the frame.
Hit: (RHH) Began in a slightly open and balanced stance with a smooth controlled load, that used a mild leg kick trigger. Gets stacked into his backhip which allows him to explode through the ball. + bat speed at 73mph average and 76 mph max. Flat-upward swing swing path with a higher finish (83% on plane efficiency). Showed a gap to gap approach.
Power: 92 mph exit velocity. Showed some pull side power in BP. Bat speed (76mph max) and rotational acceleration (20.1 gs max) combination show a good power ceiling.
Defense: (C) 2.04-2.19 pop times. Quick footwork for his size. Fluid exchanges on throwdowns. Athletic in his actions. Wider setup.
Arm: 76 mph catcher velocity. Compact arm action, high ¾ slot, occasional accuracy and at times flashed good carry toward the bag.
Speed: 7.23 (60-yard).

Power: 97 mph exit velocity from the tee. Present pull side power. High exit velos on inside pitches per Trackman data. Plus bat speed (73mph) and rotational acceleration (17 g's) per Blast Motion data. High power ceiling.
Arm: RH. C - 79 mph. Shorter arm action out of the H ¾ slot. Good arm speed. Comes out straight and online for mostly accurate throws to the bag.
Defense: 2.00-2.09 pop times. Sets up in a wide base and deep crouch. Clean footwork and exchanges on throwdowns. Sets up in different crouches to optimize framing ability especially low pitches.

Orange County Preseason All-State - long and lanky raw catchers build at 6-foot-4 204 pounds with lots of room to fill out. Sets up behind the plate with a wide base and takes up a lot of space. Big target for pitchers to sight in on but needs to be more calm receiving. Foot speed lacked causing some accuracy issues and registered a pop-time range of 2.14-2.22. Offensively showed a short swing for his size with some bat speed. Hunches over some and plays smaller than his size but shows potential to create power down the line. Young catcher with a big frame that will be a name to watch down the line if he can harness his raw talents.
