Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; Strong build on sturdy and fairly powerful body type, clearly has worked to put time into his body, fast and aggressive arm, FB is creeping near the upper-80s and would not be a shock to see him reach 88 or possibly above as a senior, 85.9 max FB at BAWS 2022, 2115 max spin, creates considerable horizontal movement (16.6 max), 4.6 release height suggests he can work in upper parts of the zone if he can increase the spin closer to the 2250/2300 range, SL 68-72 w/max 2314 spin, big breaking sweeping slider, similar release height to FB makes them playable off each other, mixed in one CHG at 70 mph, chance to evolve into a somewhat powerful two-pitch relief type for his post-HS profile/projection.
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 5-10, 160 lbs. Athletic medium build. Higher waist. Mature upper half.
Mechanics: Over the head delivery. Higher effort. Sits into back leg and drives hard down the mound. Up tempo. Lands slightly toward 3B side of the rubber for some slight crossfire action. Larger stride. Full arm circle in the back that gets pulled into scalp and accelerates into release. Present arm speed. Comes out of ¾ slot out of a slight lower elbow.
FB: Had some trouble locating. Decent movement characteristics. Decent spin for velo at around 2200 spin.
CB: Decent feel. Slurvy break due to present HB break. Tons of movement. Slows down arm slightly to get the lower velo.
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 5-9, 155-pounds. Athletic build, high waist, current strength in chest and shoulders.
Delivery: Big side step with full over head delivery before sit and drive down the hill; good drive off the rubber from the backside. Fluid leg swing and slight tuck at highest point. Big stride down the hill; times where cross-body on the finish.
Arm Action: RH. Loose arm, small downward action out of glove with full swing to 3/4 slot
FB: T79, 76-78 mph. Stuck to arm-side with run that way and times where better angle (16.8 Max IVB, 13.8 Max HM) T79, 79 average rpm.
CB: 63-65 mph. Slurvey with horizontal action and later depth. Times where it had big sweep (-25.9 Max HM, -13.4 Max IVB) T63-65, 63-65 average rpm.
CH: 69-71 mph. Through the zone run; will drop his elbow on it. T69-71, 69-71 average rpm.
