Bay Area World Series 2020 (BAWS) - Uncommitted; participated in workout portion only; Of note he's younger brother of Dodgers reliever Dylan Floro. Physical LHH w/short stroke and ability to create power while maintaining bat control. Whippy life in the swing w/ample power potential. Competent and confident 1B defender.
1/13/19
PBR Central Valley Preseason I.D. - Stout and strong body type on sturdy 5-foot-11 205-pound frame, competed as 2-way player, on mound has some presence starting with how he hides his eyes behind his glove, overhand slot, good direction down slope, slight cross body stride, powers the ball out of his hand, compact delivery and arm action, fastball 78-79 mph with some lively movement, curveball starts with some wrist wrap and gets nice spin on that pitch (62-65 mph), lots of run on his change-up (67-70 mph) which is his best pitch. Seems to have an idea of what he wants to do with the ball and each of his pitches.
Large frame with width and squared shoulders; very strong build that can tighten and shape body as he continues to mature. Open, tall stance with low hands; hands load back into the shoulder with high front foot lift as he curls around back hip. Bat works well on upward path keeping hands tight and showing quickness with flashes of more when using hips. Drove the ball to pull side with pop to the gap and projectable future raw power (85 exit velo). Wide hips in infield moving well to arm side and showing flashes of agility off the bag at 1st. Compact arm with quick release; looked to be saving throws for pitching (66 mph).
