Game Performance

Notes

Comments

7/07/21

Body: 6-1, 165-pounds. Lean athletic build. Plenty of room to add more athleticism and mass.
Delivery: Simple and repeatable delivery. Exclusive from the stretch. Medium knee lift that is straight up then down the mound. Keeps his torso angled down as he works into footsrike. Finishes in a good fielding position.
Arm Action: RH. Arm circle in the back that stays behind his body. Comes out of 3/4 slot. Average arm speed.
FB: T80, 79-80 mph. Average movement characteristics of 11.6 vertical break and 13.3 inches of horizontal break. Spin is decent for velo at around 2057 rpm.
SL: 68-70 mph. Slurvey break with present VB that gives it nice depth.
CH: 72-74 mph. Straight change. Consistent armspeed and slot as FB.
SPLT: 70 mph. Low spin split with nice tumbling action due to the 4:00 tilt.

Hit: RHH. Slightly open with relaxed hands in stance. Uses a simple forward stride as hands stay neutral. Slight rock onto his backside. Swing is more direct and compact with a path that is level-steep (81% on plane efficiency). Present barrel control. Middle of the field approach.
Power: 88.00 max exit velocity. Not much loft in the swing. Current singles hitter. 50% line drives and 50% groundballs during BP. Needed increases in bat speed to increase power (average bat speed 60.69 mph)
Arm: RH. INF - 74.00 mph. Below average arm strength but it is a quicker arm action that is thrown either the low 3/4 slot or the 3/4 slot. Solid arm utility as he is quick with exchanges and doesn't need extra steps to get to release. 4/5 accurate during the workout.
Defense: Comfortable and relaxed actions. Solid going to both sides. Takes good angles and comes through nicely. Gets low to the ball closer to when he starts to field it.
Run: 7.40 runner in the 60.
