11/10/18 - California Sr. Games. Six-foot-4, 205 pounds. We have seen Michael now on multiple occasions. Athletic kid for his size and I believe he hasn't stopped growing. There is room to pack on muscle. I see him playing 3B now, but future first base or corner OF. Big power in the bat that he hasn't even tapped into yet. Excellent project for anyone. With his background in the INF, should be a smooth transition.

8/1/18 - At 6-foot-4, 205-pounds, Snyder is a long, lean, wiry strong athlete with broad shoulders and a strong lower half. The frame that can easily add weight and mass. Snyder has excellent instincts in anticipating his angles to the ball through his pre-pitch routine. His arm is a plus and able to make throws from all angles with accuracy and from multiple slots/angles. His throws show life. His glovework is consistent and his hands are softs while his transfers are clean. At the plate Snyder really projects because of his ability to drive the ball to all fields and his current power. He stays behind the ball and keeps his barrel on a consistent plane while maintaining his balance throughout his swing. His load is smooth and his stride short. Hands are fast while his swing is short to the ball and long through getting full extension. Snyder ran a 7.16 60 with an exit velocity of 88 mph and an infield velocity of 85 mph.

4/18/18 - Uncommitted. 6-foot-4, 205-pound, athletic frame that has strength throughout and is defined in the upper half. The first thing that sticks out with Snyder is his physical presence then you see him working infield drills and it's really a treat to watch. Snyder possesses the footwork typical of a middle infielder despite being a natural third baseman who shifted to second base because of injury. Snyder's range is above average and, when he shifts back to third base next season it should be enhanced. Snyder possesses above average arm strength and instincts - he's very light on his feet despite his size - and makes the difficult throw/play look routine because of his athleticism. Offensively is where Snyder really projects. Starting with an upright stance and the bat resting on his shoulder, Snyder rocks his body a bit as a trigger before unleashing the barrel into the hitting zone on a level plane that remains in the zone throughout the entirety of his swing. His fast hands allow him to catch up to pitches and his strength allows him to drive balls when he gets jammed. He turned on an 89 mph fastball that in on the hands hitting it out of the park but pulled just foul showing some impressive bat speed. Snyder was timed 4.38 home-to-first.
