An elite defensive outfielder, Pena has an absolute cannon for an arm that results in online, accurate throws from his right field position. Attacks balls with a quick first step and great body control. Shows good range and speed to track balls down that are hit away from him. At the plate is where Pena separates himself from his peers. An advanced hitter with present power, Pena displays a mature approach to hitting with advanced feel for the barrel and the strike zone. Seems to square everything up.
