3/26/18 Boras Classic - Cochise JC commit, there was quite a bit of buzz when he was on the mound, with a lean and lively body, projectable 6-foot-1 160-pound frame that looks years from being filled out, and stuff that is easy to dream on. Kamages was up to 88 mph and it was the kind of easy 88 that had MLB scouts grumbling that he's headed out of the area to an Arizona JC. His stuff and projectability is what blossoms for a pitcher that heads to junior college. He's got confident mound presence with a set-up that lets the hitter know he's an attacker. Natural high-3/4 slot and good extenstion/direction, with good foot strike and leverage. Good backside drive and good timing of his backside and glove-side of the delivery which creates good balance for him as he works down the slope. He spins the breaking ball nicely as well which allows his fastball to play up a bit more.
