One of the better uncommitted players in SoCal, Everly has a presence about him on the field and in the box that immediately catches your attention. After watching Everly for the last couple of years, the first thing that immediately stood out was his improved discipline in the box. Whereas before he would aggressively try to do damage oftentimes at his own detriment, he’s far more selective now and sticking to his gap-to-gap approach resulting in far more quality at-bats even when he doesn’t collect a hit. There’s obvious power both in the frame and the swing, and he appears to be getting to it much easier now with the new approach. Spoiled several pitches during his multiple at-bats, one of them resulting in an RBI hit to RCF. Also drew a walk where he saw nine pitches. Strong first game for Everly.

Noah Everly, Maranatha, 2026 Positional Profile: SS/RHP Body: 6-0/175. Proportional frame that is showing some early physicality. Room to fill. Average swift athletic testing metrics. Defense: Quality actions. Light feet that work through. Soft hands with clean funnel/exchange. A bit into his knees at times forces him to come up to throw. Arm: RH. INF - 84 mph. Short action. Above avg. strength for level. Easy effort. Spiked some throws. 3/6 accurate during workout. Hit: RHH. Open stance with hands hanging over homeplate. Small gather as hands load a more upright bat. Simple forward stride. Lofting swing that works more uphill. Inside out ability. Higher two hand finish. Above avg. bat hand speed. Flashed some pullside power in-game with a loud 2B off the LC wall.
Delivery: Controlled easy mover. Repeats well. Side steps into a chest high knee tuck. Smaller sit into backleg thats more IR dominant. Average length stride. Level shoulders that work back slightly. Still head. Lower half works in good direction through home. Decent block into landing. Arm Action: Shorter action. Slight stop and go. Above avg. arm speed. Works to a H 3/4 slot. Consistent slot. Some deception as arm hides behind torso till it comes out at release. FB: 82-83. As he adds velo it's gonna have carry shape to due higher tilt. Already avg. 21.7 VB. Avg. command (45% in-zone). CB: 72-74. Shorter SL. Minimal about 5 inches of drop and 2 inches of sweep. Advanced feel in-zone for strikes (80% in-zone).
