2021 San Marcos RHP and uncommitted Ryan Forcucci is listed at 6’ 165 lbs in a lean and lanky build. Showed poise and confidence for an underclassmen against a mature potent lineup. Mechanically is fluid in the start but showed some deceleration in the front hurting present velocity. Navigated with ease the first two times through the lineup thanks to a breaking ball in the 66-71 mph range that had sharp 12/6 break with good spin. Threw the breaking ball at any point and showed good command of the pitch. Fastball ranged from 79-82 mph with light arm side run. Balanced the fastball and breaking ball combination with a change-up ranging from 74-77 mph with hard fade and sink that caused a handful of out in front swings. Off-speed pitches played up while the fastball is average at best. Continued growth and an increase in velocity could put him on the division 1 radar.
