Game Performance

Notes

Comments

9/26/20

Positional Profile: 1B/OF
Body: 6-2, 200-pounds. Large proportional frame with high waist
Hit: RHH. Showed some rhythm in the box with a load and go timing mechanism that produces solid bat speed.
Power: Toped 88 MPH Exit Velo during BP via Trackman. Power will come as the hit tool develops.
Arm: RH. INF - 75 mph. Longer arm action that will play at 1B and topped at 75 MPH across the diamond.
Defense: Quality glove work at 1B, moved around well, had some trouble with transfers on DP's.
Run: 7.73 runner in the 60.

9/07/20

Bay Area World Series 2020 (BAWS) - Uncommitted; A former 3rd baseman, he's shown good defensive chops at 1st base, while steadily improving his offensive talents. Used RF well, twice singling sharply that way. As he improves the consistency of contact, he will start driving the ball.

5/31/19

BAWS 2019 - Strong, large frame with wider shoulders; chance for some more strength to frame (7.96 60yd). Slightly opened, slightly crouched stance with high hands over the back shoulder. Simple, quiet load back with hands; allows quick bat to work through the zone and body to drive through contact. Showed lift to the pullside with flashes of power from strength (73 EV). High hips with feet being more stationary when fielding the balls; uses frame well at the bag being able to extend and get up for throws. Arm is compact using the wrist to start throws (68 MPH).
