Body: 6-0, 165-pounds. Athletic frame, has filled out noticeably since last viewing, more speed needed, room for more. Hit: RHH. Athletic base, lift to plant hitting position, keeps hands close to body, two-hand finish. Average bat speed has increased by 10 mph to 70 mph. Put together one of the stronger BPs of the day showing some pull side power with balls that had good backspin and carry. The swing and approach are more physical as he looks to slug. Barrel takes an upward path that enters the zone and stays in the zone a long time with good extension at finish. Had himself two hits on the day which included a hard liner up the middle off a CB. Power: 90.00 max exit velocity. Batting practice home run at 346 ft. Arm: RH. INF - 80.00 mph. Transfers the ball well, short arm swing in the back, showed ability to make all the throws, staying on top and finishing throws key to accuracy and consistency. Defense: Put himself in a good fielding position, relaxed glove out in front approach, SS characteristics. Saw time at SS, 2B and RF. Run: 7.58 runner in the 60.
6/06/21
Bay Area World Series Underclass (6/4/21-6/6/21)
Offensive notes: Balanced and even stance with loose hands and sit in the back hip. Strong drive and easy effort in the swing especially when the bottom hand controlled the barrel. Created carry to the LCF gap and flashed some pop there also, in game action (a pair of doubles). In game was consistently on pitches and looking for pitches in plus counts to let it fly. 60-yard - 7.46 / EV mph - 89
Defensive notes: Uses athleticism well with long stride and ability to move fluidly in time. Worked very well to the gloveside in games and during workouts allowing arm to have multiple angles and strength across. Showed in game his ability to go get the ball and make plays. SS mph - 77
Pitching notes: Simple delivery with backside drive down the hill working inline and athletically. Average front knee and ability to hide the ball well. When the front hip closed there was better transfer of energy. FB up and small arm side action. CB long and slurvy with fluid break through the zone. FB 71-76 / CB 60-64 /
8/15/20
Defense: Infield feel; prep-step, calm actions, head down and glove out in front, positioned well. Footwork and twitch needs work. Arm: RH. INF - 73 mph. Short clean arm action, able to make throws from all three infield positions, 73 mph throwing velocity slightly above-average for class. Hit: RHH. Relaxed setup, low hands, rhythmic feel. TrackMan line drive average; 73.3 mph exit velocity - 20.7° launch angle - 212.1 ft. Power: 80 mph exit velocity from the tee. Run: 7.88 runner in the 60.

PBR NORTHERN CA UNDERCLASS GAMES
Body: 5-foot-10, 145-pounds. Lean lithe body type w/some room w/in upper frame for size gains Hit: RHH. Tall relaxed set-up, slightly open front foot, comfortable hand position off right shoulder, good rhythm towards a longer stride, sim game ABs showed good approach to stay in middle of field (1B to RF & F8), timing was good vs low-80s velocity, has body control and head stays quiet, as he grows into his frame and the physical maturity takes place there are hit mechanics and tools to evolve into a quality HS hitter. Power: 77 mph EV off tee Arm: SS velo - 75 mph - Short clean arm action fits left side of infield, where his raw arm strength gets to will determine if he stays on left side in HS Defense: Calm demeanor, good focus and adjustability to the ball, can work to be a little more efficient with feet and close on the ball a bit more, raw footspeed limits the present range so developing more foot quickness is something to work on, quality glove skills and works below the ball well. Run: 7.96 60-yard
