Positional Profile: RHP

Body: 6-1, 210 lbs. Sturdy build. Filled out upper body with some present lower half strength.

Delivery: Efficient delivery. Medium knee tuck gets him into back hip. Rides that hip down the mound hard and fast. Firm lead leg and falls towards 1st. Compact arm action. Decent layback. Above-average arm speed that accelerates to release at H ¾ slot.

FB: Decent location (53.6% rate strikes). Located to all quadrants. Higher spin for velo at around 2300 rpm/29 Bauer units.  Decent extension as well helps give it some extra perceived velo

CH: Some present armside run/fade. Decent feel for it in the zone 50% strike rate.

CB: Decent movement characteristics. Slurvy break with around equal vertical and horizontal break.

Bay Area World Series 2020 (BAWS) - Uncommitted; There is some good stuff here though his control of the zone (delivery) has to improve to see him take the next step. Quick/strong arm, the max 2344 spin of FB up to 84 is a good indication for future velocity gains and he does flash feel of both CB & CHG.

PBR Central Coast Open - 5-foot-8, 145-pounds, good build and well-proportioned throughout, some strength now but good body agility and size and strength are solid for his age. Easy working arm from 3/4 slot, loose quick arm, his delivery works with a simple step/turn keeping himself tall with an easy controlled and high knee lift before dropping and driving down the hill. Good rhythm and body control, calm head throughout, good delivery. He showed off an impressive three pitch mix for his young age and looks to have a chance to throw hard someday. Fastball (75-76 mph) with good life, curveball (59-62 mph) improved as he worked into session and when his hand traveled further, showed deft feel of the change-up (63-66 mph). Good 2022 to follow.

Postion (1B) - Offensively keeps a narrow stance with a high back elbow. Loads back into hip and stays in back hip as he shows quick hands that produce loft (78 MPH exit velo) while looking to drive balls to the middle of the field. At 1st base he worked with a longer arm action that showed a quick release (68 MPH). He plays a bit high with the hips, but showed flashes of athleticism and the ability to make plays with the glove.
