Linus Sinclair, HARVARD-WESTLAKE (CA), 2029
Positional Profile: OF/RHP Present build suggests plenty of physical upside. Loose actions and balanced posture stand out. Added strength will likely unlock another level of performance.
Body: 5-11, 154-pounds. Long, lean athletic frame.
Hit: RHH. Feet are set just wider than shoulder-width with a square stance. Knees are bent and weight appears centered. Hands are positioned near the back shoulder with elbows relaxed. Bat is upright with a slight forward tilt. Medium, inward leg kick with large stride toward pitcher. Loads in back leg separating hands from body. Lands hard on front foot. Throws barrel at ball creating a whippy swing.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 85.7 mph. 318' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-79 mph. High 3/4 release. Arm is loose and shows strong arm strength. Shortens follow-through on throws.
Defense: Plays tall and upper body heavy. Feet and legs lag behind on throw coming a little off-balanced. Makes decisive reads in OF.
