Body: 6-3, 190 pounds. He has a desirable height with a cut frame and room to grow. His length and quickness behind the plate stand out among his class. Will fulfill projectables with a college lifting program.
Hit: LH- Stands upright and slightly open. Changed his trigger to a glide rather than a toe tap and it helps him get into his backside better. When he loads, he drops his hands so the bat is vertical with some slight tilt. Showed a consistent up the middle approach. Bat path is on-plane and direct to the ball.
Power: Does a good job of coiling up during his load which helps him create torque when driving through the baseball. In batting practice showed present pull-side power and the ability to find consistent barrels. Has the potential to put on more strength and mass and if so could develop into a rare offensive threat at the catcher position.
Field: Aude is a catcher with solid athleticism behind the dish. He has soft hands and is an agile blocker with room to improve as college approaches. Quick and light footwork for a catcher of his size.
Arm: RH C- 75 mph. Nimble and fluid throwing motion when throwing down to second. Quick release with accurate throws on the side of the bag. Believe there is some room to build some more arm strength.
Run: 7.41 60-yard dash on laser time. Has improved his 60 significantly since the last time we've seen him. Hands are loose with a still head and higher chest.
Summary: If Aude can continue to pack on strength and fill out the rest of his frame, he will become an elite threat on both sides of the ball that no team can ignore. Aude will no doubt be an X-factor for Notre Dame in the upcoming 2022 season. Whether it’s with his skills behind the dish or smooth left-handed swing, Aude will look to build upon his traits in his senior year. If he can put all the tools together, he is sure to be turning heads and catching eyes in his final year. The potential for Aude is through the ceiling and is sure to be an impact player at the next level.

Riverside Co. Preseason All-State: At 6-foot-3, 185-pounds Aude looks like a different player from the one that attended the IE Future Games Trials last summer. He appears slimmer yet stronger and that physical refinement is showing in his swing at the plate where he appears looser and freer in the lower half allowing him to get the barrel through the zone quicker and more consistently from the left side. Showed hints of his potential raw power to the pull side with a consistent middle approach. Catch and throw has also improved as he appears quicker in his lateral movements and recoveries. Presents a quiet glove out front without a lot of body movement. Hopped on the mound where his stuff is raw but projectable with a loose, compact arm. Fastball is clean and tight without much movement. Flashed command of the pitch while working in-and-out with it. Maintains the same high 3/4 slot on all pitches which makes his changeup play up as it comes from the same tunnel and out front release point as the other pitches. Curveball was sharp with late depth when thrown with conviction.

Riverside County Preseason All-State - right-hander with a good frame at 6-foot-4 180 pounds. Released his three-pitch-mix from an over-the-top arm slot. Commanded a four-seam fastball to both sides of the plate with some downward plane at 77-81 mph. Change-up came out of the hand just like his fastball and showed fade and sink at 73-75 mph. Breaking ball broke like a slider with tight spin at 69-73 mph but was hit or miss depending on whether or not he kept his front side closed. Clean and repeatable mechanics enable him to show consistency but also make his overall skill set highly reliant on his ability to repeat his mechanics pitch-to-pitch. Desirable pitching frame leave room for more.

IE Future Games Trials - Uncommitted. (Catcher) 6-foot-2, 185-pounds, large frame with strength in lower half while upper half has room for continued development. Strong, durable build with some flexibility in his actions. Shows a gap-to-gap approach from the left side with flashes of gap power. Hands are quick-to-fast with hints of present bat speed. When timing is on, contact is loud. Some moving parts in the lower half in the swing. The Low hands create lift which should turn into legit power when the 6-foot-2 frame is finished developing. Quality receiver behind the dish with good hip mobility and awareness. Moves and reacts well to pitches outside of this receiving area while demonstrating soft hands with clean transfers. Arm was accurate with pop times in the 2.09-2.19 range.
(Outfield) Uncommitted. 6-foot-2, 185-pounds, Big, strong frame that is beginning to fill out currently. Adding muscle and twitchiness to his frame will enhance his all-around game. Participated in multiple aspects of this showcase. Started the day running a 8.02 sixty. Really liked the natural left hand stroke with some loft . Starts with a balanced set up, low, relaxed hands. Has good bat speed. Gap power currently, but will turn into HR power as he matures. Showed well at the catching position with accurate throws to bag, moved well laterally for his frame and looked comfortable in his setup. In the outfield he showed the ability to make strong accurate throws to all bases. Has clean arm action and has some carry. Could see ability to play first base as well. Good looking recruit.
