Currently ranked No. 7 in 2016 class and No. 235 overall. 6-foot-1, 195-pound, right-handed pitcher displayed a long arm with a slight stab out of the glove. Arm speed was quick and over the top. Hides ball extremely well, hard to pick up. Good balance point all owed shoulders to stay level and landing to be square to the plate. Fastball is 83-84 mph with slight run and good command both in and out in the zone. Knuckle Curve was on display and registered 75-77 with sharp 12/6 break. Was thrown for strikes low and out in the zone. Burkart finished his day with a 77-78 MPH change with near FB arm action and slight cut. Just came out of basketball so expect velocity to increase in a month. Has good hands at ss with fluid footwork, and plays through ball well. Keeps hands out in front. Very athletic. 3 pitches for strikes. Good bat speed.

MaxPreps’ Freshmen All-American infielder in 2013, first team All-State each year, already being recruited by multiple Division I schools and followed by multiple MLB teams, throws mid to upper 80s with great knuckle curve, one of the most talented players Eaton has ever had.
