Bethune-Cookman Commit, 5-foot-8, 165-pound strong athletic build. Solid projectable at the plate, King had an exit velocity of 94 mph. (67.70 mph bat speed average). (23.06 mph hand speed average). Starts in a tall athletic stance with a smooth tight load, then uses a short controlled stride. Has a simple loose swing plane, explosive bat speed and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap line drive approach. Above average projectable from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 85 mph; shows a quick natural exchange, athletic rhythmic feet, and consistent soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a high ¾ slot and a long arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag.

Started in a tall athletic stance with a tight high load, then used a controlled stride. Has explosive bat speed, loose simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Confident in the infield, his best throw was registered at 83 mph; has fluid rhythmic feet, a natural fluid exchange, and twitchy consistent hands. Laterally, movements were quick and fielded the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a longer arm action and a high ¾ slot. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.82 60-yard dash.
