USA CNT: Looked like he was not seeing the ball well and his timing was off with a three-part swing. He seemed caught in between the speed of the fastball and offspeed. He did finish 4-for-14 (.286), but other than a home run, his hits were muscled up the middle or to the left side. As a corner bopper with well below-average speed and less than average defense, he must continue to slug at a high rate like he did this past spring (.376/.471/.733, 23 HR, 75 RBI) in order to see day one in 2025.
Physical frame for his age at 5-foot-11 175 pounds. Has an easy load and shorter stride that allows him to get on time. Gets good extension through the ball and has pull-side power. Produced hard contact in every at-bat against Empire.
