College of DuPage commit. In Romeoville’s 1-0 win over Joliet West, Burnett threw a complete game shutout, facing the minimum. He struck out four, walked none, and allowed three hits. 51 of the 72 pitches were thrown for strikes (71%).

Delivery: Slower tempo, tall delivery, lands square to target, level shoulders, keeps it simple.
Arm Action: RH. Short action, high 3/4 arm slot.
FB: T80, 76-77 mph. Two-seam type, arm-side run at times, flashed downward action.
CB: 69-71 mph. 11/5 shape, looks to finish down in the zone, average spin rate of 2,159 RPM via TrackMan.
CH: 69-70 mph. Mostly straight change, flashed run/sink.
Athletic 5-foot-10, 150-pound right-handed pitcher. Started on the mound Thursday night for Illinois Premier. Compact arm action, high ¾ slot. Simple tall/fall type delivery, level shoulders, closed-toe landing, some rhythm throughout. Polished arm for age that flashed feel for three pitches. Fastball sat 74-76 mph, flashed arm-side actions, consistently thrown to both sides of the plate for strikes. Curveball played at 65-66 mph, tight 11/5 shape, late break at times, feel to spin. Changeup was thrown with fastball arm speed and confidence, sat 68-69 mph with natural downward tumble. An intriguing pitchability right-hander to know moving forward.
