6/3/13 - Committed to Three Rivers CC. Small 6-foot, 175-pound frame. Knows how to pitch; has a plan on the mound and pitches with confidence. Works from high ¾ slot, short athletic arm. Fastball topped at 81 mph, sitting in the 77-79 range. Has reportedly been up in the mid-to-upper 80s earlier in season. Curveball has plus potential, can be legitimate swing and miss pitch. Throws it for strikes, with sharp late bite. Curveball has 11/5 shape; occasionally showed 12/6 break. Entered state tournament with ridiculous statistics: 67.1 IP, 143 Ks, 25 BB, 15 hits, 0.31 ERA, 10-1 record. Should be a coveted D1 prospect coming out of junior college.
