Our first glance at Schreckenberg came deep into the 2A IHSA playoffs where he played a key role in leading the Eagles to a state berth. We saw him again at the Battle for The Arch in September as a member of team Illinois, and looked the part on Sunday at the SportsBarn to our Missouri crew. He’s built at 6-foot-2, 195-pounds with present strength and plenty of room for more. In this look, Schrekenberg generated hard contact to the opposite field with whippy hands and barrel length through the zone. Schreckenberg is a name-to-know uncommitted senior from the southern region of Illinois.

Arm: RH. INF-78 mph.Ability to throw from multiple slots; arm plays long.

Schreckenberg is listed at a physical, wide-shouldered, 6-foot-2, 195-pounds and started his day running a 6.94 laser-timed 60. At the plate the right-handed hitter has strong hands with present barrel strength and got some sneaky jump off the barrel. The unsigned senior also finished game play 1-for-2 and profiles at second base or somewhere in the outfield at the next level.
6-foot-2, 190-pound, athletically-built, high-waisted, right-handed hitting middle infielder; wears the uniform right. Started at second base and finished 1-for-3, with a triple, two RBIs and a run scored. Easy swing with looseness throughout and freedom in his hands. Uses the whole field; drove his triple into the right-center field gap. Smooth defender up the middle with receptive hands and can throw from multiple slots.
