Played right field and hit third against Providence, finished hitless, but produced hard contact three of his four times up. Balanced setup, slight bar load, knee knocker stride. Fluid path with some length, loose hands with rhythm through contact. Laced two balls to his pull side with lift, power potential is there, also stayed on a pitch to the opposite field, grounded out to short. Made both plays hit his way in RF, made an athletic play going back on a tough ball, fields his position; arm has some carry to the cut-off man. Follow 2021 as he continues to fill out.

2.20.17 - 6-foot-1, 175-pound, lanky, athletic left handed hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher. On the mound, works from a ¾ arm slot with short arm action. Tall and fall delivery, works on-line, lands square and finishes in an athletic position. Fastball clocked at 70-72 mph, topped out at 75 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, clocked at 60-62 mph. Changeup clocked at 62 mph. Defensively, throws from a high ¾ arm slot with short arm action, kept throws around the bag. Clocked at 62 mph across the infield. Offensively, tall setup, short stride, keeps it simple. Line drive hitter, short barrel path, up the middle majority of hits. Recorded a 73 mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran a 7.61 laser-timed 60.
