5/19/15 - 6-foot-2, 200-pound right-handed pitcher. Currently ranked No. 189 in the Illinois Class of 2015. McHenry County College commit. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle. Drop and drive delivery with slight pause and turn to load up on the backside. In warmups fastball topped out at 86 mph. In game fastball sat 81-83 mph. Splitter showed downward action at 71-72 mph. At the plate hits from an open stance. Showed feel for the barrel and some pop in game. 89 mph exit velocity from a tee last summer.

6/19/14 - 6-foot-2, 200-pound 3B/RHP showed more arm strength on the mound than in the field.  Fastball ranged 83-85 mph from short, high ¾ arm action.  Repeats drop and drive delivery with slight jump at the hitter after loading over the rubber.    Threw strikes with 11/5 curveball with consistent shape.  72-75 mph splitter showed late tumble to his arm side.  Offensively, hits from an open setup with a short stride.  Hands move back smoothly in load producing a level, line drive bat path and 89 mph exit velocity.  Threw 78 mph across the infield.  Ran a 7.38 60.

11/3/12 - Butts is a 6-foot, 184-pound multi-positional player. Butts hits from an open stance while using a short stride. Behind the plate he recorded pop times of 2.4-2.58 while recording arm strength of 66 mph across the diamond. On the mound, he worked from a high ¾ arm slot producing a 73-75 mph fastball with slight movement. His curveball sat at 64-66 mph, while his change up sat at 63-66 mph in the strike zone with sink.
