Brombaugh impressed particularly throughout his defensive round; cruising the outfield with athletic actions and steady hands, also reaching up to 92 mph from a crow-hop. His right-handed swing is simple at the plate, repeating a flat path through the zone with a line-drive approach. 6.95 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Hit: RHH. Balanced stance, active hands with knee-to-knee load. Consistent barrels with level swing and mid/pull approach.
Power: 81 mph exit velocity off of the tee.
Arm: RH. OF - 89 mph. Short, clean arm action, high ¾ release. Above average arm strength with solid carry and accuracy.
Defense: Athletic footwork with aggressive routes to field. Reliable glove, plays through the ball well.
Run: 6.93 runner in the 60.

Arm: RH. OF - 91 mph; second-best of the event. Short, over-the-top arm action. Throws play with carry.
Defense: Advanced, athletic outfield actions. Active fluid feet, attacks and plays through the baseball. Clean transfer and release.
