06.18 - Transferred to Heartland CC
7.26.16 - Verbally committed to Baylor.

6.16.16  - Recent Baylor commit. 6-foot-1, 190-pound, strong, athletically built, left-handed hitting infielder. At the plate, fluid rhythm, gap-to-gap approach and present bat speed; recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph. Balanced, open stance, back load, toe-tap stride and path has some length through the zone.  Defensively, soft hands, quick, clean exchange, athleticism at position, works through ball. Long arm action, high ¾ slot, flashed carry; clocked at 89 mph across the diamond. 6.97 runner in the 60.
2/14/16 - 6-foot, 180-pound left-handed hitting infielder, lean loose frame. Offensively hits from an open stance, short stride back to even, smooth loading action, drops hands down and back, good balance. Ability to keep hands inside the baseball, loose hands, showed some barrel control and ability to backspin the baseball, flashed pull side pop. 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.18 runner in the 60. Defensively showed a loose arm action, some accuracy, good arm strength, 85 mph across the diamond. Plays through the baseball, solid hands.
10.18.15 - Solid, athletic build 6-foot, 175-pound left-handed hitting infielder. Offensively, registered one of the better exit velocities of the event, 89 mph. Offensively, hard contact during batting practice and takes aggressive swings. Fast bat speed and gets extension through contact. Starts from a crouched setup, smooth pre-pitch load, short stride and good use of his lower half. Gap-to-gap approach. Defensively, ability to throw from multiple arm angles on the infield. Steady hands, athletic arm action, carry across the diamond and clocked at 81 mph. Also, ran a 7.29 60.
8.23.15 - Solid, athletic build 6-foot, 175-pound left-handed hitting infielder. Offensively, gets a lot of pre-pitch separation, getting hands in a good place to hit. Ball jumps off of his bat, loose hands, fast bat speed and wore out the opposite field gap in batting practice. Exit velocity registered, 88 mph. Starts from a balanced, open stance, short stride and good balance through contact. Level path through the zone and line-drive hitter. Defensively, showed fluid footwork on the infield. Short arm action, over-the-top slot, carry on throws, and clocked at 83 mph across the diamond. Also, ran a 7.41 60 yard dash.
6.21.15 - 6-foot, 175-pound lean left-handed hitting middle infielder, impressed offensively on day one. Went 3-for-4 in game one against the Outlaws, with a no doubt homer to deep right. Hits from an open setup, spread out stance, front knee turns in to trigger lower half, slightly uphill bat path, advanced feel for barrel, showing off gap-to-gap power. Showed the ability to use all fields as well. Defensively, plays second for high school, short on his summer team. Has arm strength to stay at short, currently below average runner 7.62, but should get faster with maturity as he fills out. Running mechanics look fine. High follow bat in the 2017 class.

6/18/15 - 6-foot, 175-pound, left-handed hitting shortstop. Defensively has a long loose arm action. Average hands with average arm strength. Threw 81 mph across the infield. At the plate hits from a slightly open stance, toe turn and tap stride. Starts slightly open and dives into the plate on stride. Bars out on load. Long, level swing path. 81 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.62.

3.30.15 - 5-foot-11, 165-pound lanky and athletic left-handed hitting middle infielder, currently unranked in PBR’s 2017 class. Mote impresses with natural middle infield actions, short, quick, athletic arm action, with carry across the diamond. With a three-year starter at shortstop, Mote plays second base, but has the arm strength to play short. Hits in the three-hole for Normal. Hits from a crouched, open stance, stands on the plate, lined out hard to right-field in third at bat, well above average bat speed for age. High follow prospect in the 2017 class, looks to be at least an average runner.
