RHP Brady Bolen (Pekin, 2025) displayed some pitchability throughout his ‘pen. With four pitches to work with, Bolen ran his fastball in the 83-85 mph range with heavy arm-side run (avg 15.1” HM), while tossing in a sinker that played well off of the fastball with true sinking action (avg 4.8” IVB) at 79-81 mph. His offspeed consisted of an arm-side fading changeup at 70-74 mph, and a slider at 72-76 mph.

Body: 5-7, 165-pounds. Well-proportioned build.
Hit: RHH. Wide base, slightly open and works back to even, gets foot down early. Strong hands, flat path, quick from load, looks to elevate to the pull-side. 64.2 mph bat speed with 12 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 89 max exit velocity, averaged 78.3 mph. 327’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 79 mph. Quick, short arm path, low 3/4 slot.
Defense: Fields ball out front with a two-hand gather, quick and clean transfer, moves well up the middle.
Run: 7.23 runner in the 60.

Delivery: Hybrid, deliberate, directional and athletic down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Clean, quick arm action, ¾ slot.
FB: T85, 83-85 mph. Clean out of the hand, late arm-side action at times. T2119, 2018 average rpm.
SL: 73-77 mph. Short, sharp lateral action. T2234, 2211 average rpm.
CH: 71-74 mph. Thrown with intent, plays with heavy fading action. T1728, 1566 average rpm.

Defense: Athletic look, fluid footwork with some bounce, soft/confident hands, receives the ball out front and secures into his body, quick/clean transfer.

Delivery: Stretch only. High and closed leg lift. In-line stride. Some effort in the delivery.
Arm Action: RH. Medium arm arc into 3/4 slot. Quick arm.
FB: T85, 82-84 mph. Some heavy sinking action. Some cutting action. T2189, 2005 average rpm.
SL: 77-80 mph. Short lateral break. Thrown hard with arm-speed. T2187, 2165 average rpm.
