3.17.17 - Quincy University recruit. Well-proportioned left-handed pitcher. Also, hit in the leadoff spot; reached base in three of four plate appearances. Made his mark on the mound in this game. Threw a complete game and picked up the win for Civic Memorial. Slight hesitation in delivery, creates some deception. Arm works over-the-top. Filled up the strike zone throughout and kept hitters off balance with a three-pitch mix. Had success at the top of the zone with a four-seam fastball, got plenty of swing and miss throughout. Also, mixed in a curveball with short break and good feel. Changeup, used sparingly, kept down in the zone.
