Uncommitted. Strong 6-foot-2, 225-pound frame. Came out of the pen. Hasquin showed an upside look Friday morning as he threw two and a third innings while inducing weak contact in his first two innings. The right-hander operates from a simple delivery with a high leg lift while having a tall/fall approach. Compact, short arm action from a ¾ slot. His fastball sat 79-82 with life. Mixed in a low-70s breaking ball that had late action. Interesting 2027 to keep an eye on.
Uncommitted. Shows some projectability in his frame at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds. A dual-sport athlete, also plays quarterback for Triad. Pitched four strong innings in relief, only giving up three hits, a walk, and an earned run on the day. The sophomore has a simple delivery with little wasted movement. He features a slight drop-and-drive delivery with a loose arm out of a higher ¾ slot. Hasquin was not afraid to attack the zone with a FB/SL combo, showed a lot of confidence, and looked impressive against a tough opponent. With his size and athleticism, Hasquin has plenty of opportunity to develop into a quality college arm.
