8.12.16 - Verbally committed to Illinois-Springfield.

8.9.16 - Recent Illinois-Springfield commit. 6-foot-2, 185-pound, athletic, two-way prospect. On the mound, right-handed pitcher with three pitch fell. Smooth rhythm, stays on line, lands square, finishes athletically, repeats well.  Long, loose, quick arm from a ¾ slot. Fastball, features slight run, sat 83-84 mph. Curveball, thrown for strikes, 11/5 shape, 69-71 mph. Changeup, near fastball arm speed, fade movement, sat 71-74 mph. Offensively, left-handed hitter, flashed bat speed, gap-to-gap approach, uphill path through the zone; exit velocity registered at 89 mph. Open setup with a smooth load. Defensively, reliable hands, showed athletic actions. Flashed a long, accurate arm from a ¾ to low ¾ arm slot; throws clocked at 77 mph across the infield. 7.58 runner in the laser timed 60. 
6.16.16 - 6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, solid build with some projectability. Tall and fall delivery, works in line, some effort. Arm action is long, loose, showed arm speed, ¾ slot. Fastball has running action, 84-85 mph. Showed two breaking balls, both had slurve type action, curveball sat 69-72 mph, slider is 70-72 mph. Changeup is straight, 76-77 mph.

1.18.15 - 6-foot-1, 165-pound wide shouldered, large frame, RHP sat 80-83 mph with his fastball from a long, quick, ¾ arm slot, drop and drive delivery, loads lower half over the rubber, works slightly across his body, lands slightly closed. Fastball thrown for strikes with sinking action. 61-63 mph curveball flashed 10/4 shape, more of a slider, also showed feel for a 66-69 mph changeup.
