Unsigned Senior. Extra-large, wide-shouldered, 6-foot-5, 230-pounds. Went four-plus innings of shutout baseball. Delivery worked directionally down the mound, lands square and finishes towards third base side. Given his size, controlled his body and levers well. Arm work clean, from a high ¾ slot and gets extendension out front at times. Was able to create tilt and angle to his 83-84 mph fastball, around the zone. Went to a 1/7 curveball at 67-68 mph as his go-to secondary offering. Intriguing look at one of the more projectable unsigned senior arms in the state.
Positional Profile: LHP. Interesting arm in 2022 class.
Body: 6-foot-4, 220-pounds. Projectable, physical frame.
Delivery: Repeatable tall-and-fall delivery. Works downhill, landing square to home with extension.
Arm Action: LH. Short arm action, high-¾ to over-the-top release with some shoulder tilt.
FB: 81-83 mph, straight action on a downward plane, keeps the ball low.
CB: 60-64 mph, 1/7 shape, consistent strikes and good depth.
CH: 67-69 mph, sink action low in the zone.
