1/13/13 - Schreck is a 5-foot-9, 175-pound catcher who showed excellent receiving skills behind the plate and a strong release to second base. While receiving the baseball Schreck showed the ability to move well behind the plate while showcasing soft hands. He recorded pop times ranging from 2.04-2.08 while consistently delivering the ball on the bag. He has a typical catcher release operating with a short over the top arm action while clocking in at 74 mph from the crouch. Offensively, Schreck hit from an open stance using a short stride and a very minimal load with his hands. His line drive approach played well to the big part of the field and recorded exit velocities of 87 mph from the tee.
