C Connor Eydenberg, Plainfield North, 2027 Well-proportioned 5-foot-8, 162-pounds. Started behind the plate and batted seventh for the Tigers. Showed to be a tireless worker behind the plate and was perhaps the unsung hero for Plainfield North in their victory over Rochester. An agile and willing blocker, Eydenberg prevented runs in numerous key spots in the game and was a “wall” behind the dish. He also displayed above-average receiving qualities, working up through the ball, and stealing strikes a handful of times for his pitching staff.
