1/12/14 - In three month’s time has seen velocity jump 3-5 mph; certainly opened eyes with his performance on the mound at Unsigned Senior Showcase. Solid 6-foot-1, 205-pound frame with stronger lower half. Fastball topped at 87 mph, sitting in 84-86 range. Athletic arm, good hand acceleration, drop and drive delivery. Flashed five-pitch arsenal: curveball (68-71), slider (74-76) changeup (73-75) and split (72-73). Changeup demonstrated late sinking action, thrown with good arm action. Curveball shows occasional sharp two-plane action. Offensively, shows balanced swing with bat speed; uphill path with some lift and carry.

10/13/13 - 6-foot-1, 200-pound strong body pitcher with four pitch feel. Uses a drop and drive delivery that has quality rhythm. Throws from a high ¾ slot with a quick arm. Fastball sat 82-83 mph, flashing 84 mph, with run and sink for strikes. His changeup was 74-76 mph with solid arm side run. Throws a curveball with 12/6 shape at 70-71 mph. Has a slider with 10/4 shape that sits 74-76 mph. Also throws a split finger with downward action at 74-76 mph.
