3.15.18 - McKendree commit. 6-foot-5, 211-pound, extra-large, right-handed pitcher. Started for Civic Memorial and put on one of the best pitching performances of the Kickoff Classic so far. Went 6.2 innings, scattered three hits, one earned run, struck out 10 and walked two. In control of the game the entire time. Consistenly attacked hitters and got ahead in counts with his fastball. Ability to mix in either offspeed offering whenever needed. Fastball sat 84-87 mph slight arm-side-run. Held the velocity throughout. Curveball works between 10/4 and 11/5, good feel, depth at times, 68-70 mph. Changeup, mostly straight, flashed swing and miss, late arm-side-run once, 77-80 mph. Impressive overall performance.

5.8.17 - Uncommitted, 6-foot-5, 211-pound, right-handed pitcher, with a well-proportioned, athletic, large frame; prototypical pitcher's build. Threw a complete game shutout for Civic Memorial. Scattered three hits, struck out seven and walked two in his seven innings of work. Works extremely quick, attacks hitter and consistently pounds the zone; keeps his defenders in the game. Uptempo delivery, high front side, creates angles to his pitches at times. Arm is clean and out of a high ¾ slot. Commanded his fastball throughout, works mostly straight, occasional boaring action to the arm-side, sat 80-84 mph, touched 85. Mixed in his breaking ball throughout, good feel, varying action. Can throw it early in the count, looser 11/5 shape and tightens it up with two strikes. With two strikes, more 10/4 shape, shorter, later break, ability to miss barrels and get swing-and-misses. Overall, highly efficient right-hander pitcher who controls the game and has a plan on the mound. Follow 2018 right-handed pitcher with more in the tank.

3.16.17 - 6-foot-5, 210-pound right-handed pitcher, big body extra-large frame. Good presence on the mound, pitches with moxy, controls the game with uptempo pace. Works slightly across his body, loose high ¾ slot. Fastball touched 83 mph early, sat 80-82 mph for most his outing, showed feel for the zone and ability to get ahead. Slider had 10/4 shape, good action, ability to drop for strikes as well as expand the zone, 68-72 mph. Showed changeup at 76 mph, arm side sink.

6.28.16 - 6-foot-5, 211-pound right handed hitting two-way player. Offensively, balanced set up, back load, longer bat path, line drive type approach. Recorded an exit velocity of 88 mph. Defensively, high ¾ arm slot, flashed accuracy and arm strength. Clocked at 70 mph across the infield. On the mound, projectable right handed pitcher. High ¾ arm slot, quick arm speed, loose action, regular effort. Smooth rhythm, in-line direction, square landing. Fastball sat 77-79 mph hitting 81 mph with run. Curveball, 10/4 action, sitting 63-67 with fastball arm speed. Featured a changeup sitting 70-73 with sink, fastball arm speed.
