Lake Land JC commit, currently ranked No. 178 in Illinois. Hopped on the mound to close out the game against Burlington Central. The right-hander’s arm plays with a repeatable arm-circle into an over-the-top slot. Simple delivery, knees slightly bent out of the crouch, tilt/topple operation from balance point, remaining in-line with the plate. His fastball worked in the 83-85 mph range, topping out at 87 mph with some ride through the zone. He then went to a gradual 12/6 breaking ball, thrown at 71 mph with depth; also flashing a straight change at 71 mph.

Lake Land JC commit, currently ranked No. 178 in the Illinois 2022 class. Athletic build with a 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame. Hit out of the three-hole for No. 5 Saint Viator and impressed with a polished swing and mature presence. The right-handed hitter starts in a slightly open setup, moving with a fluid pace throughout his load into a long stride. At foot-plant, his hands naturally separate from his body creating some torque before moving into a level path to the ball, with his arms moving loose throughout. On the infield, Farrell showed some athletic actions to pair off reliable hands, also showing the ability to maintain body control on the slow roller play in IO. His arm played true across the diamond, placing accurate throws on the bag with notable carry. He later hopped on the mound where his arm-strength easily translated; running his fastball up to 83 mph with some sink, sitting mostly 80-82 mph. He also went to a curveball at 62 mph, playing off a gradual 11/5 plane.

Arm: RH. INF - 79 mph. Short arm action, high 3/4 arm slot.
Defense: Steady hands, clean exchange, plays with proper direction, advanced double play turn.
Run: 7.35 runner in the 60.

Hit: RHH. Balanced, athletic setup, starts shifted slightly on back leg, small leg-lift, short stride. Level swing, simple, in the zone a long time, line-drive approach, used middle of the field.
Power: 84 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. High 3/4 arm slot.
Defense: Quiet actions, works around the baseball, then through it towards target, changed arm angle at times.
Run: 7.44 runner in the 60.
