6-foot-1, 200-pound highly athletic prospect with bounce in his actions. Scrappy gamer on the infield, hands work. Came into pitch after starting at shortstop for the Coalers going three innings with four strikeouts allowing a walk and a hit. Has conviction and guts on the mound, attacked hitters. Deceptive delivery, cross body some, arm works quick out of a ¾ slot, effort is rather easy. Fastball had run, ranged 77-83 mph, topped 84 mph.
6-foot-1, 200-pound, athletically-built, strong, right-handed hitting shortstop. Defensively, steady infield actions, sure-handed and clean, easy release. Arm works loose and has plenty of strength to stay on the left side. Offensively, hit in the three-hole for Coal City. Strong hands, bat stays flat through the zone, ability to backspin the baseball to the pull side. Finished 0-for-3 with hard line out to left field.
