1/29/17 - Home-1st: 4.61, Position Velocity: IF-78, Exit Velocity: 87
6-foot-1, 190-pound, RHH was on the way home from a college visit and decided to attend our East TN event, hit from a narrow and closed stance but used a loose and athletic leg kick and stride with smooth hand movement to get loaded, lower half is engaged early and gets through to create some separation, swing plane is slightly up through the zone and can create some lift, showed the ability to drive the ball with some gap pop. Defensively, showed good hands and fluid footwork around the bag, played through the ball very well with confidence, exchange was efficient and led to a short and loose arm action through a high ¾ angle with accuracy.
1.16.17 - 6-foot-1, 190-pound, right-handed hitting infielder. Offensively, pull-side approach, some looseness in swing, slightly uphill path; exit velocity registered at 90 mph. Tall, narrow setup, drops hands in load, leg kick trigger. Defensively, short arm action from a high ¾ slot, throws clocked at 64 mph across the diamond. 4.83 home to first runner.
1.17.16 - 6-foot-1, 175-pound infielder, advanced lean strength for his age. Right-handed hitter, leg lift stride, maintained balance. Path is level, flashed hard contact, strong for his age, showed bat strength, occasional shoulder swinger, pull side approach. 83 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm occasionally carried, over the top slot, short/firm arm action, 76 mph. Hands played, may project best at third base. 7.81 runner in the 60.
