Uncommitted. Athletic, well-proportioned frame with lean levers more than capable of filling out physically. Started at third base and hit cleanup for Father McGivney in their 7-1 win over Bushnell. Tall start with slight knee bend, hands tip slightly as levers load in rhythm, subtle leg lift into a short stride. Loose athletic hands, level and on plane through the zone, used the whole field in this look. Jumped on an outer-half fastball for a standup double into the right-center gap in his first at-bat, poked two singles to the pull-side as well. Athletic on the infield as well, started at third base and made a run through play, gathering quickly and releasing an accurate throw across to nab a would-be runner. An upside senior that’s still on the market who should play a key role in Father McGivney’s offense this spring.
