5.26.16 - Denison University commit. 5-foot-10, 175-pound shortstop. Athletic defender with easy actions, high level defender with all the tools to stick at shortstop. Hands are soft, arm action is loose and athletic, accurate arm, excellent body control, can play well on the move.

12.30.15 - Verbally committed to Denison University.
6.11.15 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound, athletic build, right-handed hitter. Hits from an open stance, short stride, above average balance. Average bat speed, short bat path with extension, gap-to-gap approach, 87 mph exit velocity. Defensively showed above-average hands, fluid footwork, ability to play through the ball. Short, loose arm action, ¾ a lot, 81 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.47 60-time. Ryder would have ranked as one of the top middle infielders at the Underclass Trials, but he’s a 2016, so we’ll rank him with the Prospect I.D. event next week. He was unable to attend any event besides the Underclass due to his summer schedule.

8/17/14 - 5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder hits from an open stance, short stride, drops hands to load; long, uphill bat path, pull tendencies, with 84 mph exit velocity.  Defensively, threw 75 mph across the diamond from short, ¾ arm slot with accuracy.  Ran a 7.62 60 and 5.01 seconds from home to first.
2/17/14 - 5-foot-10, 165-pound middle infielder. At the plate he hits from a balance setup with a toe tap load and launch sequence. Swing has an uphill path and solid bat speed. Exit velocity was 83 mph off a tee. On the infield his arm works short, with solid accuracy, at 68 mph across the diamond. Ran a 7.76 60.
